Hey, just a short intro to the Sinistrata site. Over the last five years, besides writing fiction to disturb, I have been creating artwork using my blood (four are featured in the gallery). They were painful births with a carpenter knife.

When I first thought of setting up a site, I envisioned it being about lists of publishing credits, story and art reviews and such. Well, I thought no thanks. I wouldn’t want to read lists written by strangers regarding their previous work. I didn’t want to bore people by wishing them to read reviews of what someone thought of this tale or that piece of artwork. The only lists you will find on this site are the titles of the artworks in the gallery.

Besides some exhibitions in a few cities, in a couple of countries, and some ink illustrations in horror and fantasy magazines, I haven’t showcased my artwork to a wide audience. So I have 20 artworks to view in the gallery.

Regarding the horror tales, you can find here two short recently published pieces free to download and enjoy.

Also I have provided excerpts from two yet to be published works: my new novellas The Malign Comedy and The Mangroves of Borroloola, where in the latter you can read about a tropical leech being extracted from a man’s nose with bait and a fish hook. Mmmm, delicious.

I will add throughout this year more artwork to the gallery including a new Bloodwork, the fifth in the series. Now where is that carpenter knife?
